Through a competitive tender bid it obtained the ICX license from BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission) on 25 February 2008, for operating ICX at Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna. The license was granted for a period of fifteen (15) years and is renewable prior to expiry

The network rollouts were done in two phases. In the first phase, Dhaka ICX operation officially commenced from 23 August 2008. We provide ICX operation support on 24 / 7 basis and at the same time ensure 99.999% service availability mandate of the BTRC.
